A downloadable game for Windows

DEVELOPMENT PAUSED IN FAVOUR OF A NEW GAME -

This is simply because there'sway too many factors in creating a new level, and that's not my strong suite in the first place, so i have no ideas.

---------------------------------------

In a world cursed with a spell preventing death, the populous is starving as populations grow. The dwarf sets out on an adventure to break the curse, and restore balance.

Use your corpses and abilities to traverse and solve several puzzles in as few deaths as possible.

Look at devlogs for what each version contains, most recent version will always be at the top of the download list.

Controls stated in game

Planned additions - more levels/worlds, controller support, bug fixes, you get the idea.

I like the way you use dying as a method of solving puzzles. I'd like to see some more complex uses of it since currently the main use is to turn your corpses into platforms.

The sliding movement is annoying, it makes a parkour type game a lot more difficult unless the game is designed around sliding (such as that csgo sliding mod) It has thrown me off a lot of places which does not feel too great.

I like having the ability to change my loadout, although some abilities feel somewhat useless (the high jump has not proven to be very good).

The artstlye is nice, you should update your ui to match it better.

Text in some of the maps needs to be shown earlier since it can be read fully a bit late.

You shouldnt keep all old builds of your game on itch, it can be confusing to more casual players, maybe look into butler for itch so you can auto update the game.

Overall, I think the game is nice, keep at it, Id love to see this finished!

The sliding is due to a low friction value, and if i change that i think it throws off some other calculations, so i'll look into that.

I looked at butler for like 5 minutes, but it looked complicated to set up. But ill keep the current available to download on itch.

I cant change the abilities all that much, but i can make future levels and build them around the abilities, i too have noticed some abilities are pretty useless.

Thanks for the feedback,

Check out this youtube video for butler, was pretty difficult for me as well without it.

And you're welcome!
